Yeshvant A. Navalgund, M.D.

Dr. Navalgund obtained a Doctorate in Medicine in 1999 and continued on at the University of Virginia
to complete an internship in General Surgery.
He is board certified in Anesthesiology from the Mercy Hospital
of Pittsburgh, and is sub-specialty board certified from the West Virginia University Hospitals in Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Navalgund currently maintains a faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Neurosurgery/Division of Pain Management at West Virginia University.
Rodney B. Dayo, D.O.

Dr. Dayo obtained a Doctorate in Medicine in 1998 and continued on at West Virginia University
and The Marshfield Clinic to complete internships in Osteopathic Medicine and General Surgery.
He is board certified in Anesthesiology from the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, and is sub-specialty board certified
from the West Virginia University Hospitals in Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Dayo currently maintains a faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Neurosurgery/Division of Pain Management at West Virginia University.
Brinda K. Navalgund, M.D.

Dr. Navalgund obtained a Doctorate in Medicine in 1999 and continued on at the University of Virginia to complete an internship in General Surgery.
She is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center,
and also Board Certified from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Spinal Cord Injury and Pain Management.
Pat Carone, M.D., MBA

Dr. Carone obtained a Doctorate in Medicine in 1994 from the University of Virginia.
He completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia, serving his last year as Chief Resident.
Dr. Carone has also completed a one year fellowship in interventional pain management.
He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and subspecialty certified in Pain Medicine.
Dr. Carone also obtained a Masters in Business Administration in 2005 from Auburn University.
Dr. Carone has served on the faculty at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga,
and taught numerous visiting and resident physicians interventional pain management techniques.
Louis Olegario, M.D.

Dr. Louis Olegario obtained a Doctorate in Medicine in 1992 and continued on at the State University of New York, Brooklyn
to complete an internship in General Surgery.
He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
from the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center of Brooklyn, New York as well as sub-specialty certified in Interventional Pain Management.
Mark Wells, CRNP

Mr. Mark Wells completed his training as an Anesthesiology Technician in 1999 and went on to complete his Bachelors in Nursing at Duquesne University in 2005.
He then completed his Masters Degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner in 2008.
He has an extensive background in chronic pain management and pain related syndromes which he developed while working with our pain relief team during the completion
of his Masters Degree.
Amy Schleifer, PA-C

Mrs. Amy Schleifer completed her training at Seton Hill University’s Masters Program for Physicians Assistants in 2005.
She has been Board Certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants.
She has an extensive background in chronic pain management and pain related syndromes which she developed while working with our pain relief team during the completion on her Masters Degree.
Brandi Penatzer, PA-C

Ms. Brandi Penatzer completed her Bachelors Degree in Health Science in 2005 and her Master’s of Physician Assistant Sciences in 2006 at St. Francis University.
She has been Board Certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants.
Ms. Penatzer brings a diverse background in chronic pain management. Her experience includes Orthopedic/Sports Medicine, Spine and Hip Pain, where she has excelled at both assisting the surgeon in the operating room and independently seeing patients.
